Hello, I'm raspberry! This is an Ensemble Stars!! fan translations site with a focus on Valkyrie (especially Mika) content. I actually produce Eden (particularly Hiyori) too, but Valkyrie takes up most of my brainpower, so I don't have much to show for it orz.

I want to make it clear that I'm not fluent in Japanese nor have I ever touched professional translation. I translate as a way to practice and immerse myself in the original text. This doesn't mean I don't put care into my work, though—I spend a lot of time mulling over firstly what the text is trying to convey, and secondly how to then convey that in English. My goal is to produce translations that I myself would enjoy reading were they in the official game.

Through this process, I'm able to understand and appreciate the original text more deeply than I otherwise would have. And I'm able to transfer those feelings into my native language, which is fun both as a writing exercise and as a way to give these characters their own voices that attempt to capture the full charm of their individual personalities.
